The changes to the V1 rules to the current V5 are summarized below

All Divisions

  • Added the KBA tournament code of conduct

Major Girls

– added “The dropped 3rd strike rule is NOT in effect – the batter is out on the third strike.”

All Divisions except Junior

-changed mercy rule to 10 after 4 (not 11 after 4)

Junior

-changed mercy rule to 10 after 5 (not 11 after 5)

-changed game length to 7 innings

All divisions

-add clarity to time limits and how game is timed

-added language around infield warmups

Minor and Minor Girls, Major and Major Girls

-changed diamond name from “Bridlewood 1&2 to Deevy Pines 1&2

-changed diamond name from Walter Baker East to Mike Channing

All Divisions

International tie breaker will be in effect for all games that are over inning or over time in all divisions.

The original rule read:

Please note that there is no time limit for the Playoff games. In the event of a tie after 6 complete innings, extra innings will be played until a winner is decided. 

The current rule now reads:

For all playoff games, in the event of a tie after 6 complete innings or after the 1:45 time limit has been reached the international tiebreaker rule will be in effect by placing the player who is scheduled to bat last in that respective half inning on second base to begin each extra inning.

RAINOUTS

In the event some or all games are unable to be played due to weather.

-Zero games played = full refund minus $50 admin fee

-One game played = 50% refund minus $50 admin fee

-Two games played = no refund

100% of the proceeds of this tournament go to charity, our fixed costs are significant.

We reserve the right to modify rules/formats etc in order to complete as many games as possible
